DAY 21: Gratitude // READ: Psalm 136:1 & Luke 17:15-16 // REFLECT: No matter the circumstance, we must remember to give God thanks. Gratitude is the least we can show for all God has done for us. On mountaintops and in valleys we must remember to be thankful. Gratitude is more than just an attitude but a choice to intentionally give God thanks for all He’s done. Let’s be grateful; let’s choose gratitude today.

day20

DAY 20: Contentment // READ: 1 Timothy 6:6-8 // REFLECT: Contentment is one of the most fortifying characteristics of the Christian faith. It's not merely being satisfied with what you have, but learning to be fulfilled in the God that makes ways out of no way; not being so encumbered by the selfish things of this world that we lose grip of the spiritual prize that awaits us. When we learn contentment, we learn to let go and recognize that God’s grace is ever sufficient, lifting us to the level of godliness that will sustain us in this world and ultimately gain us the greatest of rewards - hearing God say “well done.

day19

DAY 19: Salvation // READ: 2 Corinthians 5:21 // REFLECT: When we think of salvation, we reflect on the ultimate and immeasurable price paid for our deliverance from eternal punishment for sin. But salvation is also about transformation. It is the continuous yielding of our sinful natures by faith & repentance, allowing the Holy Spirit to break, mold and #RESET us. Salvation is God’s unmerited love gift to us; transformation is the grateful price we pay.

day18

DAY 18: Joy // READ: 3 John 1: 2 &3 // REFLECT: Joy is found in the Lord who never, ever changes. Joy in and of the Lord is the wellspring of true happiness. Let us #RESET and realign to live in that joy.

day17

DAY 17: Peace // READ: Philippians 4:7 // REFLECT: To experience peace during the worst moments in one’s life would seem incomprehensible, however to those whose trust is in the Lord, the peace experienced truly passes all human understanding.

day16

DAY 16: Forgiveness // READ: Mark 11:25 // REFLECT: Do not allow individuals to live free rent in your head. Doing so leads to inner turmoil and stress. Today, focus on releasing those individuals to Christ in order to gain the freedom you'll need to move forward and fulfill your purpose.

day15

DAY 15: The Ministry of BGT // READ: 1 Corinthians 12:12 // REFLECT: Today we pray that the ministries of BGT will function in unity; we come against disloyalty and distrust. We pray for the mind of Christ, the love of Jesus & the hope of the cross. Bless our ministries as we serve you wholeheartedly and give us vision & insight as we fulfill the mandate for BGT. We ask these prayers in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Week 2

day14

DAY 14: The Broken-hearted & Bereaved // READ: Psalm 34:17-19 // REFLECT: We serve a God who feels what we feel. He is filled with compassion & love. This is the blessed consolation we have as believers. He lightens our burdens because of His compassion, concern & care. Hold on to this blessed assurance in the powerful name of our loving God.

day13

DAY 13: Our Jobs & Finances // READ: Deuteronomy 8:18 // REFLECT: The pandemic has resulted in lost jobs and financial hardships for many. It is so easy to believe that God has forgotten you. However, know that even in troubling times, our God is still able to provide for His children. Lord, we pray you will open doors of opportunity for your people even in a time of famine.

day12

DAY 12: Our Community // READ: Philippians 2:4-7 // REFLECT: In these challenging times it is easy to focus on our own needs and not be concerned about others. God did not intend for us to live in isolation. We were made to live and thrive in community. We are our best selves when we’re experiencing life with others.

day11

DAY 11: Our Families & Relationships // READ: Colossians 3:12-13 // REFLECT: Family is the backbone of society. In order to have healthy families and relationships, we must learn to forgive and demonstrate kindness, compassion, and patience to others. As kingdom citizens, pray that our families exude His character in our interactions with one another and make an impact on our society.

day10

DAY 10: Our Nation // READ: Proverbs 14:34 // REFLECT: It’s important that we pray daily about the honesty, truthfulness & integrity of our nation’s leaders. As citizens of Heaven, we are obligated to speak, vote and live-out the values of the kingdom of God in the society in which we reside. Let’s pray today for the Lord’s hand of mercy and grace to be upon our country.

day9

DAY 9: Our Health // READ: 3 John 1:2 // REFLECT: Our physical & mental heath are fragile. We are threatened on both fronts by various troubles ranging from the current turmoil of our nation to the deadly coronavirus. Let’s pray not only for ourselves but for others that God would sustain our minds and give us good health.

day8

DAY 8: The COVID-19 Pandemic // READ: Romans 8:38-39 & Isaiah 41:10 // REFLECT: COVID-19 has changed our world. Fear, panic and grief are commonplace; our day to day lives have changed drastically. In the midst of it all, we must believe that there will be an end to this pandemic. As we seek the Lord today, let’s pray for those who have lost loved ones, those who are currently fighting this disease and everyone affected.

Week 1

day7

DAY 7: Endurance // READ: Hebrews 10:36 // REFLECT: This race isn’t a sprint; it’s a long-distance race and we need perseverance to cross the finish line. Sometimes we may feel like giving up, things will get difficult. When that happens, let’s remember that God is with us to give us the endurance we need so we can run the race well.

day6

DAY 6: Boldness // READ: Joshua 1:9, 2Timothy 1:7, Hebrews 13:5-6 // REFLECT: It’s easy to be afraid, especially if we look at the state of the world today. We must trust that God is with us to give us boldness in the midst of difficulty. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Let’s pray for boldness today.

day5

DAY 5: Provision // READ: Luke 12:24 & Psalm 34:10 // REFLECT: Our God is a provider. Even in difficult times we must be prayerful and know that God can open doors and take care of His children. Let’s believe that God will continue to provide for us in our times of need.

day4a

DAY 4: Surrender // READ: Matthew 16:24 // REFLECT: In order to truly walk this out, we need vision, we need faith, we need unity - but it all rests on our ability to surrender to GOD. Without surrender we become our own authority and that never ends well. Let’s pray for the strength to obey and surrender to our God. #bethelgospeltabernacle #bgtreset #2021
