Pastor Stephen Samuel is the senior pastor of Westbury Gospel Tabernacle, a branch church of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle located in the heart of Nassau County, Long Island, New York.

Background

During the 1960s, Bishop Roderick Caesar, Sr. founded the church in Westbury with the cooperation of dedicated leaders and members. It was the Bishop’s desire that a local church be established so that members would not have to travel so far to Queens to worship.

By God’s providence, a concrete garage and repair shop on Prospect Avenue was secured. Today, over many years later, and after many physical transformations, Westbury Gospel Tabernacle stands as a beautiful house of worship serving the New Cassel community and beyond.

Ministry Focus

The congregation is from different backgrounds, yet they share a fundamental unity in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.They place the highest value in genuine worship of God, applying the Bible to their personal lives, and reaching out to others seeking ultimate answers about God, life, and themselves.
